Today was my first day of middle school. I felt both excited and a little nervous as I walked into the classroom. There were so many new faces, and I didn't know anyone yet. My English teacher, Miss Wang, greeted us warmly and introduced herself. She told us that we would learn lots of interesting things in this class. After class, I met a girl named Li Hua. We sat next to each other, and she seemed very friendly. I hope we can become good friends.
